Little Blessings is a weekday Tuesday/Thursday program ministry of Saginaw United Methodist Church for children 18 months through 4-years old. Little Blessings offers children the opportunity to learn through play in a relaxed and nurturing environment. Learning in this environment enhances their self-esteem and allows them to grow spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally. Through active learning experiences, children have the opportunity to explore, discover, create, and communicate.
Curriculum
The current curriculum used at Little Blessings is from Lil Dreamers Dream Big. The curriculum not only seeks to reinforce foundational concepts and encourage creativity, but enhance critical thinking. Learning centers and thematic play allows each child to learn and grow at their own pace, while providing the social interaction that is so important for this young age.
A school day at Little Blessings can include: art, crafts, science experiments, reading readiness, math centers, story-telling, music and/or fine and gross motor skill activities. To enhance their spiritual development, all classes participate in a brief chapel time each week, which includes a short lesson and prayer.- Staff
Our staff is carefully chosen and thoroughly screened with criminal background checks. They provide prompt and efficient care for the children’s basic needs. Teachers receive CPR and First Aid training and participate annually in teacher in-service training. Classrooms have a low teacher-pupil ratio.
- Calendar
Little Blessings follows the calendar of the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District for holidays and bad weather days.
Our first day of class will be August 31.
Class Days
Little Blessings meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Registration
Registration for the 2022-2023 will open up in March of 2022. Registration forms are available by calling the Little Blessings office at 817-232-4380, by stopping by the church office, or by downloading the Enrollment Packet. The spot for your child will not be held until the Little Blessings office receives the enrollment packet along with the $50 non-refundable registration fee. For safety reasons, please call the preschool office to schedule a tour. - Fees
Registration Fee (per child): $50
Registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.
Supply and Party Fee (per child): $100
At least half of the Supply and Party Fee is due by the first day of class and is non-refundable.
Tuition
All classes are $180 per month
For families with more than one child, we offer the rate of $160 per month per child. - Referral Program
We offer a generous referral program to families enrolled at our school. Refer a friend who enrolls in Little Blessings Preschool and you and your friend will receive $25 off the first month's tuition. All other fees apply. A $50 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. Referrals do not apply to siblings. Referrals are unlimited and you will receive $15 off per additional referral.
